STAR TREK “FEATURE FILM-STYLE RARE WHITE VULCAN PRIEST/ESS HAT”

Description: A costume element of the style featured in “Search for Spock” and “The Voyage Home”. This item is a white, felt, Vulcan-style hat featuring textured, metallic-silver trim, and further gray trim forming a chinstrap, an attached necklace with gold-colored stripes in spiral and interlocking patterns. On the front of the hat and at the bottom of the attached necklace are triangular, off-white, faux jewels with Vulcan iconographic symbols. Three things make this item either rare or singular; the white color of the felt is the only such example thus far located, the chinstrap is stained with Vulcan makeup residue, and the necklace attached to the hat with the second jewel. A sewn in Paramount tag reads ‘5-1’.
