STAR TREK “FEATURE STYLE VULCAN PRIEST/ESS HAT”

Description: A costume element similar to those featured in various Star Trek feature films. This item is a rust-colored felt, Vulcan-style hat featuring a wide trim of black with textured, diagonal black stripes, as well as darker black, and a darker shade of rust; in addition there is a there is an alternating pink and silver, waffle board design around the trim. There is a chinstrap of the same black and rust motif as the trim, and a purple, diamond-shaped, faux jewel with Vulcan iconographic symbol. The unique thing about this item is that where virtually all hats of this type, the trim is one uniform width and the ‘jewel’ is in the center but with this one, the trim gets wider going from right to left and the ‘jewel’ is towards the left side. The felt of the hat exhibits a moderate amount of fading and has a sewn in Paramount tag that reads ‘3-11.’
