The item is representative of an “Akira-Class” starship, the likes of which appeared variously in Star Trek VIII: First Contact and in episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Voyager like “Message in a Bottle”. The item is white foam core cut into varying elements and glued together for camera fly bys and measures approx. 23 X 19 X 6.5 inches. On the port nacelle “Akira’ is hand written, and the item depicts a degree of damage due to time and storage conditions in that the nacelle support struts are cracked but retain their shape.
