Description: During the episode “Behind the Lines” of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine the crew of the “U.S.S. Defiant” placed on display the cells of phaser arrays in the mess hall of the ship when they succeeded in depleting them in battle. This ceremony brought improved morale and a familial relationship to the crew due to their shared purpose. This item is one of those cells; a metallic silver painted plastic cylinder with painted metal and cast resin details. The item measures approx. 30 X 4.25 X 7 inches.
