Description: A costume featured in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture for wear by John R. Kamal in his portrayal of “Commander Sonak”, the ill fated Vulcan science officer requested by “Admiral Kirk” (William Shatner) for the “V'Ger” mission. The costume is a gray colored Starfleet class-A uniform with trousers and a uniform top, an affixed red backed Starfleet logo on the left breast indicating the wearer to be part of the science division. The item also features an unattached plastic bio-monitor and the trousers have affixed shoes. The garments feature sewn in Western Costume Co. tags reading ‘John R. Kamal’. Minor holes exist on the trouser legs presumably due to time and storage.
