Description: A costume featured on the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “First Contact”, wherein “Commander Riker” (Jonathan Frakes) is injured while observing a planet with whom first contact with the Federation is about to occur. The costume is for wear by Steven Anderson in the role of an alien doctor who treats Riker while he is injured, “Dr. Nilrem”. The costume is a type grey-black striped vest with pleating along the left side, buttons down the front, and strings to tie around the buttons, a suit type jacket of identical color, pleating, buttons and strings but with further pleating along the functional pockets, and corresponding trousers. The costumer's tag reads ‘189 First Contact, Nilrem, Steven Anderson’.
