Description: (NBC-TV, 1966-69) A remarkable collection of 17 original carbon-copy memos from associate producer, Bob Justman, to executive producer, Gene Roddenberry, and writer, Gene Coon. 42 pages total, varying from 1 to 6 pages in length. The memos span November 1, 1966 through September 5, 1967 and include the episodes: “Space Seed”, “The Devil in the Dark”, “Operation – Destroy”, “Errand of Mercy”, “The Planet Eater” (a.k.a. “The Doomsday Machine”, “Catspaw”, “Amok Time”, “The Apple”, “Wolf in the Pond”, “I, Mudd”, “Who Mourns for Adonais”, “The Changeling” (two memos), “Journey to Babel”, “Whom Gods Destroy” (a.k.a. “Operation Annihilate!”), “Bread & Circuses”, and “Joanna.” (a.k.a. “The Way to Eden.” <p>Accompanying the lot is Gene Roddenberry’s honorary certificate of membership in The Explorers Club presented to him on March 12, 1968.
