Description: A costume featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Allegiance”; wherein “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart), the first Starfleet cadet ever shown on Star Trek, a Mizarian, and a fourth, very pugnacious alien are kidnapped for equally unknown reasons and placed in a prison cell, while a cloned “Picard” is on the “Enterprise-D” arousing suspicions with his odd behavior. This costume is for wear by Jocelyn O'Brien in the role of an alien in the guise of Starfleet Cadet “Mitena Haro” and is the prototype for what would become the Starfleet cadet uniform; a long-sleeved, full-length black jumpsuit featuring the Operations Gold division strip, a black ring around the collar, attached belt, functional pockets on the legs and stirrups for the feet. A faded, handwritten, costumer’s tag reads ‘Jocelyn O’Brien, Haro, #166, Allegiance, TNG’.
