Description: A costume featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Far Beyond the Stars”; wherein “Captain Sisko experiences a vision from the Prophets where he is “Benny Sisko”, a science fiction writer from the 1950's, who writes a story about the denizens of Deep Space Nine. This costume is for wear by Avery Brooks in the role of station commander “Benjamin Sisko” experiencing life as a sci-fi writer from the fifties named “Benny Russell”; it consists of two long-sleeved, white, button-down dress shirts with French cuffs , a dark gray, wool suit jacket featuring very subtle stripes and matching trousers. A sewn in tag reads ‘Deep Space Nine, Avery Brooks’ and the costumer’s tag reads ‘DS9 #538, Sisko, Avery Brooks’.
