STAR TREK: DS9 “KIRA STUNT MATERNITY MILITIA UNIFORM”

Description: A costume featured variously throughout the fifth season while “Major Kira” (Nana Visitor) carried the “O'Brien’s” second child to term due to a runabout accident that threatened the life of “Keiko” (Rosalind Chao) and the unborn child. The costume consists of standard Bajoran Militia uniform jump suit split into a jacket and trousers attached to a sleeveless top: the jacket is two-tone red featuring a textured X pattern along the sleeves, Bajoran sigil pin on the left collar, Velcro patch for a commbadge (included but not attached), open at the bottom since it is a maternity garment, matching uniform trousers attached to a black, spandex-like, sleeveless top and another maternity version of the trousers/spandex jumpsuit combination; both jumpsuits have stirrups for the feet and red, leather, ankle boots with textured plastic, red accents. There are sewn in tags on each garment but they are all either blank or too faded to read but there is a costumer’s tag that reads ‘DS9, Kira Stunt Dbl, Pregnancy outfit, season 5’.
