STAR TREK I: “ILIA PROBE HEADBAND – CONCEPTUAL”

Description: An item believed to be an alternative headband created for wear by Persis Khambatta in her portrayal of “The Ilia Probe” in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture. The item is made from the same soft cream colored material as the sickbay tunic worn by Ilia as the probe with a matching fabric interior lining as well. The item is adorned with a large metal bordered ‘gem’ in the forehead and three dangling tassels with ‘jeweled’ beadwork. The headband maintains a certain degree of woven styling around the sides, the stitching is well suited to appear seamless and the forehead decoration measures approx. 2 X 2.5 inches.
