STARTREK V: THE FINAL FRONTIER “SYBOK COSTUME”

A costume featured in Star Trek “The Final Frontier”, the fifth feature film. This costume is for wear by Laurence Luckinbill as the step-brother of “Spock” (Leonard Nimoy) and V’tosh ka’tur, “Sybok”, it consists of a long-sleeved, full-length, white, linen robe featuring a wide, brown stripe around the collar and down the front accented with adhered, dark-gray rubber Vulcan iconographic symbols, quilted sleeve cuffs, and minor staining along the feet. Also included is the “god robe”, a matching, sleeveless tunic with white, vinyl accents on the shoulders, a series of adhered stones in a pattern on the chest, most of which are still present, further, hanging linen and vinyl accents down the front, and minor fraying at the bottom hem. A metallic-gold colored pouch featuring similar “stones”, sealed with a single button, a light brown leather strap and off-white, boots featuring white and brown faux fur tied to it with light-brown suede straps. A label in the pouch reads ‘Sybok’, a costumer’s tag reads ‘Sybok, God Robe, Laurance Luckinbill’ and a second tag reads ‘Star Trek V, Larry Luckinbill as Sybok, Chg #1A, SC 158-199, Clean’. Items have a small degree of distress due to time and storage but are generally in very good condition.
