STAR TREK “FEATURE FILM-STYLE VULCAN PRIEST/ESS COSTUME”

A costume similar to those featured near the end of “The Search for Spock”, the beginning of “The Voyage Home”, and various instances in other episodes and films. This costume consists of an off white tunic featuring a black inset with an iridescent floral pattern sewn on around the collar and down the front, large, metallic-gray, pleated, bell-sleeves of a slightly finer fabric, a zip down the back and clasps at the neck. Over the tunic is light-metallic green tabard featuring rust-colored stripes down the front and around the shoulders, and an irregularly-shaped, faux jewel decorated with Vulcan iconographic symbols. Included is a rust-colored, Vulcan-style hate featuring trim with a similar black background, floral pattern; black velveteen fabric with gold stripes forming a chinstrap and further accents, and a similar faux jewel in a stylized ‘arrow’ design. A sewn in Paramount tag in the costume reads ‘4-3’, a similar tag in the hat reads ‘1-20’ as does a label on the mannequin denoting it is the original one the hat was placed on during production.
