A pair of sciences orange division-rank strips like those featured on Starfleet uniforms in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture. The item is orange fabric on a black felt backing with a thin gold thread embellishment. This style of accent would have appeared on Starfleet Class-B, C, and D uniforms. Only during this feature film were division strips with rank used, in subsequent films they retained their use indicating division but rank was attached elsewhere on the uniform.
