STAR TREK: “KLINGON MEK’LETH” AND “DETACHED BORG ARM PROP LOT”

Record summary

A lot of two prop items, one featured variously in Star Trek episodic television and one in the eighth Star Trek feature film “First Contact”. This lot consists of a Klingon mek’leth and the Borg arm chopped off by “Commander Worf” (Michael Dorn) during the EVA sequence during “First Contact”; the mek’leth is made completely of hard foam rubber and features a prop blade that has been painted silver to resemble metal. The handle has been wrapped in a black strip of leather for a finished look and has slight paint damage due to time and storage. It measures approx. 21 ½ x 6 ½ inches. The Borg arm is black foam rubber on the outside with a sturdier core and features various accents meant to suggest technology, further metal accents, and plastic black tubing issuing forth from the place of detachment. The mek’leth is not the one used by “Worf” in the scene but is included to complete the lot.
