STAR TREK “FEATURE FILM-STYLE VULCAN PRIEST/ESS HAT”

A hat made in the style of those from the earlier Star Trek feature films. This item is a black, square-topped, Vulcan-style hat featuring a wide, light cranberry-colored trim with a ‘woven’ pattern and gold-colored detail made into stylized Vulcan ‘ears’ on the sides and a large, circular accent on the back. A dark-red, silk-like chinstrap ties around the ‘ears’ and protects the back of the neck; a red faux jewel with Vulcan iconography, in a stylized arrow shape is on the front. A sewn in Paramount tag reads ‘4-2M’ and a second reads ‘Don Purpus’.
