STAR TREK: DS9 “CAPTAIN BASHIR'S AGONIZER” FROM “SHATTERED MIRROR”

A prop item featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Shattered Mirror” for use by “Captain Bashir” (Alexander Siddig) as an agonizer he enjoyed using on “The Intendant” (Nana Visitor) upon her capture. The item is made from injection molded plastic painted metallic copper on the exterior with metallic gold adhesive details. The item features an inset cavity with lines of metal wire to suggest hardware and three lights colored yellow, red, and green which blink in sequence when the item is activated. The item works by pressing a small black button in the cavity or when a switch n the underside is repositioned at which point the item is on until the battery runs out. Activated, the item also illuminates a red light on the front end better seen in the episode that any of the other elements. The item is powered by an internally held ‘J’ sized battery (not included). The adhesive quality of the metallic gold detail lines is beginning to wear as they are peeling and rolling back on themselves in some places. The item measures approx. 4.5 X 2.5 X 1.5 inches.
