STAR TREK IV: “VULCAN COSTUME HAT”

An unusual Vulcan costume hat believed to have been featured in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock and/or Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The item is made from shaped orange colored felt with a black and gold fabric band around the base. The fabric matches a chin strap that ties on the left side of the face. A Vulcan ‘gem’ is affixed to the center of the forehead with painted Vulcan iconography. A shield on the reverse is made from silver patterned purple fabric. The item is believed to be the only one of its kind and comes with a costumer’s tag reading ‘Vulcan Citizens Sc. 38-40 Ext. Bird of Prey’.
