Record summary
Found in the Leonardo Da Vinci collection, this amazing prop likely came to good use in the masters workshop. Made of ceramic, this lovely little dish fits nicely in the palm of your hand. It even has the miniature pestle for grinding and residue of orange chalk. In "Star Trek: Voyager", Captain Janeway uses a holoprogram to visit the master himself, played by John Rhys-Davies. Da Vinci appeared in several episodes like “Scientific Method” and “Concerning Flight”. This item came from a set devoted to the character, his workshop. The mortar measures approximately 2" and the pestle measures approximately 2.75"
