STAR TREK: INSURRECTION RED ISOLATION SUIT LOT

Record summary

This costume was seen during the opening scenes of the Star Trek feature film “Insurrection” and is a Starfleet Federation “Isolation suit” used by Starfleet to make the wearer practically invisible while conducting an anthropological survey of the Ba'Ku. Characters who wore this style of costume include “Data” (Brent Spiner” and stunt performers. The first item is a red jumpsuit with a rubber neckline, a Velcro waist for the rubber belt to attach and stirrups for the feet and thumbs to hold the fabric taut. Attached to the jumpsuit on the chest and right sleeve are two red “cloaking devices” that each has sequential red LED lighting triggered by small buttons. The suit comes with a red plastic helmet that has a fabric and rubber neck, matching red rubber boots and red gloves. As a bonus an additional red jumpsuit is included however this one has had the cloaking devices removed.
