STAR TREK: DEEP SPACE NINE “ZEK” COSTUME AND STUNT COSTUME LOT

“Zek” (Wallace Shawn) was the famed Ferengi Grand Nagus featured throughout the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series. As the leader of the Ferengi Alliance, he was both the political and economic leader of his people. His elaborate costume includes a tri-tailed crop waist coat made with multiple fabrics primarily purple in color. The chest has a black leaf motif with gold trim that is also seen up the back and down the two outer coat tails. The tips of the collar have gold colored metal fixtures with an eagle, shield and star design. The chest also has elaborate gold colored metal decorations. The sleeveless jumpsuit is purple with black embroidered designs down each leg. Worn over it is a long sleeve gold patterned top that zips at the back. The next layer is a purple waistcoat with small yellow triangles and three gold colored faux clasps at the front. The waistcoat actually zips up the back. The costume is complete with purple shoes. The costume comes complete with costume tag that reads “DS9, Zek – Wallace Shawn” however the sewn-in tag in the coat reads “Voyager, Wallace Shawn”. “Zek” never appeared in a Star Trek: Voyager episode so the reason why a ‘Voyager' tag was used to mark Shawn’s name is unknown. Also included in this lot is “Zek’s” stunt double costume that includes the same coat and waistcoat as the hero version however the gold decorative attachments have not been added. The gold patterned top is the same. The stunt jumpsuit and shoes are not available. This costume comes complete with its own costume tag.
