STAR TREK II: “REGULA I SCIENTIST” COSTUME - DISTRESSED

Record summary

A costume featured in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, worn by a researcher from the “Regula I” space station where scientists were developing ‘Project Genesis'. The costume is cream colored trousers with Velcro at the ankles and a brown waist for wear with a matching fabric top that tucks into the pants, separated by a seam to a cottony upper portion. The sort sleeves are ringed and the collar is ringed with brown and white stripes. A vest is worn over the shirt made to appear double breasted with a purple area on the lower right that includes an opening where a circuit board is sewn in, on the lower right and a purple pocket in the front, the left breast features a sewn in plastic accent. The vest zips up the back. The costume comes with a costumer’s tag indicating wear in ‘Star Trek II’ and ‘Anthony as Steward’. The distress is evident In that special effects blood is apparent on the costume around the neck of the vest and shirt and minor spots are visible on the pants due to “Khan’s” (Ricardo Montalban) take over of the space station.
