STAR TREK: PHASE II “UNIFORM OVERALLS” – ENGINEERING RED

Record summary

A pair of unisex overalls made from polyester double-knit with wraparound closures that keep the outside of the leg open. Made for the never produced Star Trek: Phase II, which would have continued the missions of the original “Enterprise” crew, sans “Spock” (Leonard Nimoy), and been the flagship show for a proposed Paramount Television Network. The costume is engineering red and would have been worn by various crew members. “Phase II” went on to become Star Trek I: The Motion Picture in 1979 and subsequent episodes which were written found their way into Star Trek: The Next Generation which shares some striking parallels to Phase II.
