Record summary
A final draft version of the script for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Duet” in which “Major Kira” (Nana Visitor) confronts a Cardassian claiming to be the former head of a detention camp during the occupation of Bajor. The red cover of the script depicts the series title in the established series logo, a graphic of “Deep Space Nine”, the space station, the title of the episode, and ‘First draft, March 18, 1993', however, the interior pages indicate final draft versions in various colored revisions. The episode credits are listed as “Duet, (fka “The Higher Law”), #40511-419, Story by Lisa Rich & Jeanne Carrigan Fauci, teleplay by Peter Allan Fields, Directed by Jim Conway’. At least two full versions of the script are contained within the selections as well as additional pages.
