STAR TREK IV: “FEDERATION SECURITY COUNCIL” GUARD UNIFORM

A costume appearing in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home for wear by guardsmen in the Federation Security Council at the beginning and end of the film. The costume is red trousers with green division strips running down the outside seam of the legs, a red uniform top, and a green long sleeved undershirt with a ribbed collar and cuffs. The costume also comes with these unattached components: a red placement for an affixed silver and gold colored metal rank badge indicating the wearer to be a ‘senior chief petty officer', a green division strip for the left forearm sleeve with three affixed silver colored metal commendation bars, a ‘5 year service’ pip, and a ‘ten year service’ pip with a Starfleet emblem molded onto it, and an enigmatic item, a field duty shoulder patch for the left sleeve depicting an eight planet solar system on a white backing, with seven silver colored planets, two with rings, the outer planets on silver circles showing their orbits, and the four inner planets on black circles, one inner planet is blue, and the whole system is separated from the edge of the patch by a band of green matching the division color. To complete the costume is brown colored ‘phaser’ armor, the front piece featuring a white center with added details, the back piece with an open area, and a brown leather belt with silver accents.
