STAR TREK: ENT “STARFLEET SCANNER” FROM “A NIGHT IN SICKBAY”

Record summary

This blue Starfleet scanner was used by “Dr. Phlox” (John Billingsley) on “Captain Archer’s” (Scott Bakula) dog “Porthos” (Breezy) in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode, “A Night in Sickbay”. The scanner is made of plastic painted blue with five intermittently flashing red LED lights on the top. A scroll wheel on the side adjusts the sequence of the lights flashing and also sounds a buzzer within the device. It is powered by a standard 9Volt battery (Not included) housed in the handle. The wires for the battery do not have a 9Volt battery connection cap therefore the wires can be taped in place to the battery or a connection cap (Not included) can be added for the device to work. The covering for the battery compartment was held in place by the Star Trek prop department by using foam tape and sticking it to the battery. That battery was dead and was removed from the device. Measures approx. 8 ¾ x 2 ¾ x 1 ½ inches.
