STAR TREK II: “DYED ORANGE ENGINEERING RADIOLOGICAL SUIT”

Record summary

A stunt costume featured in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan for wear by Bill Couch Jr. The costume is a youth sized engineering radiological suit believed to have been used in testing the effects of orange dye on its fabric due largely in part to the absence of accoutrements and that the sewn in Paramount tags are died along with the costume. The jumpsuit is for shorter wearers and may have been part of the forced perspective selection.
