STAR TREK III: “FAL-TOR-PAN CEREMONY – ATTENDANT TO THE HIGH PRIESTESS”

A costume featured in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock for wear by an attendant to the High Priestess “T’Lar” (Dame Judith Anderson). The costume is a red robe with wide pleated kimono style sleeves, a cream colored over robe with geometric cut outs, and a sturdy hood that matches the over robe and attaches at the neck. The over robe features a large ‘gem’ of translucent resin with a metal frame which is affixed to the garment. The hood is lined with red fabric internally and stands up on its own to frame the wearer’s head without touching it. The costumer’s tag reads ‘Attendant to the High Priestes Sc 283’ and the costume is one of only two known to exist.
