STAR TREK VI: “RURA PENTHE KLINGON MINING BEAM CUTTER” PROP

A prop laser mining tool made for and featured in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The item is made from molded resin and metal components, the tri-barrel emitter is made from silver colored metal as is the barrel shield that has been dulled down to appear used. The item is painted red and green and featured Klingon themed decals. A covered cord extends away from the item and a button ‘trigger’ is present. The shoulder brace is broken free of the item and clearly is fortified by metal. The two pieces depict evidence of previous repair and part of the item is chipped where the pieces connect. The item is said to be one of only four ever produced and measures approx. 18.75 X 4.75 X 8.75 inches while the additional brace measures approx. 12.25 X 2.25 X 7.25 inches.
