STAR TREK: “CAPTAIN PICARD COMPUTER TERMINAL – DAMAGED”

Record summary

A damaged ‘computer’ prop located in its current condition believed to have appeared in a Star Trek feature film starring the Next Generation cast. The item is made from molded resin with two acrylic ‘display screens’, one smoked, the other opaque white with a graphical application adhered to it. The item is missing its base bottom and part of the reverse which serve as a battery cover. Untested interior electronics are still present as are lighting positions for the screen, the item is believed to be powered by a Makita name brand battery, speculation comes on good authority as the item is similar to one sold in a previous auction. Picard – USS Enterprise – NCC 1701 E, From Starfleet Command, Command Authorization Required’. The monitor itself features a metallic gold colored Starfleet inventory application and the base is partially obscured by a prop tag of adhesive masking tape inscribed ‘No Good’. The item measures approx. 9.75 X 10.25 X 6 inches.
