STAR TREK: ENT “SHRAN – ANDORIAN SCALP, ANTENNAE, AND WIG”

A set of special effects items created to generate that specific Andorian appearance so prominent in episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise. The items are a special effects make up application of an Andorian forehead and temples painted blue with light undertones, featuring molded veins on the temples and rising high on the scalp to create the hairline associated to the characters. Also, a pair of similarly fashioned antennae with cavities for an accompanying motorized scalp mechanism. The lifelike items allow for a range of movement to occur in the antennae when connected to a currently unavailable control device, in fact a cable runs out of the rear of the item, all of which is hidden under an Andorian themed blonde wig. The front of the antennae mechanism is inscribed ‘Jeff’ indicating use by actor “Jeffrey Combs” in his portrayal of the pivotal Andorian of the series “Shran”.
