| A costume featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Host”, wherein the “Enterprise-D” takes on a Trill Ambassador to mediate a dispute between the two moons of Peliar Zel. The costume is for wear by William Newman in the role of the ambassador for the alpha moon, “Kalin Trose”, and is a long-sleeved, black shirt with green leather sleeves, Velcro size adjustments at the elbow and the wrist, a zip up the back, a green, sleeveless tunic, pleated and accented by sewn on nubs of fabric in numerous colors, overall-style trousers that correspond to the colors and fabrics of the shirt, similar Velcro size adjustments to that of the shirt, and a green leather shaped hood that tucks into the shirt. First seen in "The Host", then seen several time on DS9's proemande worn by a number of Peliar Zel inhabitants. Along the line, the cap was shortened, like it appears here. The short cap was first seen in "In Purgatory's Shadow". The costume with the long cap was seen in "Emissary", "Q-less" and "The Storyteller", for example.
