| STAR TREK: DS9 “LENARA KAHN COSTUME” FROM “REJOINED” | |||
| A costume featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Rejoined”, wherein “Lieutenant Jadzia Dax” (Terry Farrell) is reunited with the recipient of the Kahn symbiont, the wife of one of her previous hosts and the inevitable old feelings begin to surface again. The costume is for wear by Susanna Thompson in the role of the current Kahn symbiont host, “Lenara Kahn”, a full-length, long-sleeved, silver blue dress with a textured floral pattern, diagonal stripes radiating out from the collar, matching trousers, a small hole in the crotch, and stirrups for the feet. This was one of the most controversial episodes of DS9 because it involved a same sex kiss. Suzanna Thompson is better known for her role on Star Trek: Voyager as one of the people who played the “Borg Queen”. A sewn in tag reads ‘Deep Space Nine, Suzanna Thompson' and the costumer’s tag is mislabeled ‘DS9, #478 Rejoined, Lenara Kar, Suzanna Thompson’ when it should be “Lenara Kahn”. | |||
