| “Lt. Commander Geordi La Forge” (LeVar Burton) was Chief Engineer onboard the Enterprise-D and later the Enterprise-E during the Star Trek: The Next Generation series and the ‘Generations' movies. This is his Starfleet uniform made for wear during seasons 3 – 7 of the show. It includes an Operations gold jacket with black shoulders, sides and bottom. The jacket has La Forge’s Lt. Commander rank pips attached on the right collar. The backing, black pip and center pip are original to the costume however the right rank pip was missing. One has been added to complete the costume but was not necessarily La Forge’s. There is a zip up the back and a small Velcro patch on the left breast for a Combadge (not included) to attach. The corresponding trousers are black. Costume comes complete with costume tag. Around the waist is a silver vinyl belt with black trim and two gold painted resin Starfleet buckles featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Yesterday’s Enterprise”. The larger buckle is not original to the belt but is added to complete it. The Velcro is missing from the belt to hold the larger buckle in place. There are two snaps on the left side for a phaser holster (not available) to attach. Written with mark pen on the inside of the belt it reads “Le Var”. Also included is a foam phaser and holster not original to the costume, molded as one piece with two metal hooks on the back for it to attach to a belt. The prop is painted black to define the holster and silver to define the phaser. Measures approx. 8 x 2 ¼ x 2 inches. | |||
